Overview

APC Professional Programme, Endunamoo’s SAICA accredited professional programme, is an innovative programme designed for first time and repeat APC candidates. The programme’s success is underpinned by a strong focus on development of business acumen, business writing, critical thinking and ethical leadership. These skills are developed through various practical and professional methods which includes discussion sessions, individual and group assessments, and case study assessments.

The enrolment into the APC Professional Programme for the APC December 2021 assessment closed on Monday, 3 May 2021. Currently prospective candidates may only register for the EPC Case Study package, details of which are provided on the next tab entitled ‘EPC’.

Requirements All candidates are required to have served at least 20 months of training by 30 November 2021 and should have completed ITC by 30 June 2021
Payment terms Initial deposit of 25% of tuition fee for APC Repeaters Course and balance payable over 6 instalments until 31 October 2021
Initial deposit of 20% of tuition fee for APC Accelerated Course until 18 June 2021. Catch up on payments by 30 June 2021 and balance payable over remaining period until 31 October 2021
Mentorship Mentorship programme is compulsory and begins immediately after Phase 2.
Critical skills The development of these professional skills is our priority: Business acumen, business writing skills, problem solving and decision-making skills, integration skills and ethical leadership skills
Delivery method Currently scheduled for online only due to COVID-19. Should circumstances change, further communication will be made
Additional support Personalised feedback-based marking approach, comprehensive and integrated mentorship programme, caretaking programme and in-programme workshop for borderline and limited competent candidates
Certificates All candidates that successfully complete the course will be issued with new certificates. The certificate shall be valid for a period of three years from issue date (i.e. three APC assessment sittings).

The APC Professional Programme is structured in six phases as follows:

Phase 1: Reviewing the scene Personalised feedback on 2020 APC scripts and attention directing individual assignments
Phase 2: Setting the scene Introducing the concept of a competent professional and evaluation of professional competence. Allocation of mentors and group members
Phase 3: Developing business writers Engagement in the business writing workshop to build skills and confidence in professional writing practices
Phase 4: CPD Understanding the context of technical competence in case-based learning as well as technical and practical updates
Phase 5: Case based learning Refining critical thinking and business acumen through case-based teaching
Phase 6: Professional development continues Enrolment into the APC Deferred Course and personalised development goals prepared

Open Day

On 4 March 2021, we hosted an Open Day for the APC Professional Course. If you missed it or would like to revisit it, you may access the recorded session as well as the lecture slides via this link. A separate session will be held for the APC Repeaters Course and APC Accelerated Course following the release of the APC2020 results and the sitting of ITC April 2021 respectively.

Registration

Registration into any of our courses in our APC Professional Programme officially opens on 4 November 2020 and closes on the designated dates as stipulated above. No late registrations shall be accepted. Click here to register.
